Iowa HIV and Hepatitis Community Planning Group (CPG)

The Iowa HIV and Hepatitis Community Planning Group (CPG) is a group of volunteers that advises the Bureau of HIV, STI and Hepatitis at Iowa HHS. CPG members come from many different backgrounds. What group members have in common is a connection to HIV, STIs and viral hepatitis—or a connection to groups disproportionately impacted by those conditions. CPG members include people living with HIV, people working in HIV prevention or care, community advocates, public health professionals and more!

CPG seeks to make sure that Iowa has an inclusive and participatory planning and evaluation process for the delivery of prevention and care services to those living with HIV.
