The Bureau of HIV, STI, and Hepatitis at the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provides funding to local agencies to assist low-income individuals living with HIV with case management and supportive services related to their health care needs. Client service providers are located throughout the state and provide information, referrals, HIV medication adherence assistance, and coordination between health partners.
Iowans living with HIV should contact their nearest client services provider to determine if they qualify for help with an array of services including dental care, emergency financial assistance, food, health insurance premiums, co-pays, and deductibles, medical care, mental health counseling, substance use outpatient services, and transportation. Please note anyone can access services from any sites in the state, regardless of your county of residence.
